Olamide, Phyno, unleash 2 Kings Album


Brewing giant, Guinness Nigeria Plc, is poised to raise the bar in entertainment as Guinness Made of Black Ambassadors, Olamide and Phyno, recently set the social media space agog as they launched the most anticipated collaboration for 2015 entitled 2 Kings.


Commenting on Guinness’ partnership, Obinna Anyalebechi, an official of Guinness said that the brand is passionate about Nigerians who go extra miles to demonstrate unique talent and live the ideology of Made of Black campaign and make their fellow Nigerians and indeed Africans proud.

According to Anyalebechi: “The launch of 2 Kings album shows  both Olamide and Phyno were the right choices for Made of Black campaign, Phyno is made of black because he dared to be different, standing up to pursue what he believed in; his dream and not wavering till he got it. Phyno went where many could not succeed and has made immense impact in the music entertainment industry.





“Olamide is a bona-fide game changer. This he has demonstrated not only in his style of music but with the swag with which he delivers his lines and the passion with which he pursues his career. You can see and feel the raw energy when he does what he is passionate about. It is that passion we celebrate today. Olamide is definitely made of black.”

Officially released on April 1, the album launch, powered by Guinness showcased the dexterity of the two leading rap artistes as they portrayed their distinct attitude.

The 2 Kings album is the first collaboration between Olamide and Phyno since they both became Guinness Made of Black Ambassadors. Both rappers had a fantastic run in 2013, receiving massive airplay on radio and DJ spins in the clubs. Their monster hit collaboration, Ghost Mode, is a fan favourite while Dope Money, another collabo is already a street anthem.
