Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has revealed that the club will go ahead with its plans to sign Nigerian international Victor Moses to a permanent deal despite his recent injury struggles.
The Chelsea player who is currently on loan limped out of Stoke City's 1-1 draw with West Ham on Saturday, April 11 with a hamstring problem.
The hamstring problem which he suffered on Saturday is Victor Moses' third injury of the season limiting him to just 19 Premier League appearances for the club since his loan move from Chelsea at the start of the season.
Mark Hughes is however impressed with the Nigerian footballer's time so far at the club and has revealed that despite the injury problems, he will seek to sign the player on a permanent deal.
“Because he is an explosive player, the hamstring is always a danger and so he will always be a bit susceptible to those kind of injuries, But that won’t affect my thinking on other decisions we make with Victor.He has done well for us this season, but he is a Chelsea player and so they decide on the timing of talks.We will get him back fit and well. He did have a problem with his thigh and they are a notorious injury, but he’s had no re-occurrence of that.”
Victor Moses,however rejected Jose Mourinho's calls to return to Chelsea during the last January transfer window but has returned to parent club Chelsea for treatment after obtaining hamstring against West Ham. seems he's way happy at stoke.
