Sometimes we all make bad decisions based on emotions. We get so caught up in the heat of the moment we pursue the first terrible idea we have and things get out of control. We regret it afterwards and try to learn from it to not repeat the same mistake.
But some rash decisions have irreversible consequences we will never truly recover from them. Suicide is a tragedy that no one should commit. We only have one chance at life on this earth. No matter how dark your situation seems, things can and will get better if you just hold on and have hope for the future. Some people just need a helping hand... or in this lady's case a helping FOOT!
The woman in this video was going through a situation that made her feel like giving up.
She was ready to end her life by jumping from a high rise apartment. The people on the ground weren't having much luck talking her down. There was another person in the room, but when they tried to approach the woman with an outstretched hand, she moved further out the window and sat on the ledge. Someone needed to act quickly because this lady was not thinking clearly and was poised to jump. That's when a brave firefighter stepped in, or should I say KICKED in?
The suicidal woman was unaware that a firefighter was quietly preparing to rappel down the side of the building from above her. After sitting down on the window sill, she crossed her heart and folded her hands, appearing to say a last prayer for help. Whether or not you believe there is a god is irrelevant, because someone above her heard her plea for help and provided a swift answer! The firefighter! Within 7 seconds of the lady saying a prayer, the heroic firefighter repelled down in front of her and in one swift motion delivered a kick right to her chest! Sending her flying back inside the building! Now that's a response she never expected.
